Story time: Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is almost here!

This is a good time to think about what we have to be thankful for. This story talks about all the things that we could be thankful for. Notice how the author adds detail to each item she is thankful for. 

Discuss what you are thankful in your life. Why are you thankful for these things? How do they make you feel?

Optional Response:

1. At supper with your family go around the table and let each person tell three things he/ she is thankful for.

2. Fold a piece of paper into 4 squares. In each square draw a picture of what you are thankful for. Try adding a title or label to each picture.
