Let's Retell a Story Together!

Today students will listen to the Story Sneezy the Snowman (or they can choose The Three Little Pigs from Storytime today) and do a retell of the story to an adult at home. 

1. Preview the book by pausing through out. Talk about the cover, and pictures with your child.
2. Listen to the book. 
3. Using a piece of paper or your drawing notebooks, split the page into 4 boxes.  Brainstorm with your child at least 4 main events that happened through out the story.
4. Ask your child to retell what they read using the pictures to prompt them. 
5. Try retelling it together using character voices. Have fun!
