Personal Responsibility

What does it mean to be responsible?

Responsibility means you do the things you are supposed to do and accept the results of your actions.

• A responsibility: something you are expected to do
• Being responsible: doing the things you are supposed to do
• Accepting responsibility: taking the praise or the blame for something you have done

Watch Mr. Responsible make an effort to do the things he is expected or suppose to be doing.

Is he responsible?  What are some things that you do that make you responsible?  What are some other things you could do around the house to make sure you are being responsible? (Eg. make your bed, put away your clothes)

Please make a personal responsibilty door hanger (video attached below) Make sure to think of some ways you can be more responsible and use the paper clips or clothes pins to move them from the "to do" spot to the "done" spot.  Once you have made your door hanger make sure to take a picture of it and send it to your teacher.
